About the event
This is not your typical music and movement professional development. In this session we will discuss the effects of engaging in music and movement on brain development, such as the release of dopamine (an important neurotransmitter) we get when we listen to music which pleases us. We will also discuss how different games and songs can be used to effectively engage children in their learning and development, for occupational therapy, or to promote smooth transitions and routines. Presented by owner/director Kate (bio under philosophy tab).
