About the event

This is a course we highly recommend to all educators! Children’s emotional development sets the foundations for all other domains of development. And from a neuroscience perspective, we know the brain is most sensitive to learning emotional control in the first 3 years of life.

This session focuses on the ways in which emotions develop and occur in the brain. Discover how emotional development is learned through interaction and experience, and furthermore how this impacts a child’s reactions and behaviour.

We will discuss techniques for promoting autonomy, empowerment and the effective management of emotions and behaviours. Resource kit and lunch included.

Presented by: Owner/Director Kate (bio under philosophy tab). Resource kit included.

Completing this course will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
